About

Joseph Nitti, Esq. | New Jersey Divorce Mediator

Joseph Nitti, Esq. brings over 35 years of experience to his divorce mediation practice, where he helps couples navigate the complexities of divorce with a focus on collaboration and mutual resolution. As a certified mediator, Joe has dedicated his career to providing a respectful and efficient alternative to traditional litigation for families going through divorce.

Joe currently still litigates divorce cases as a managing member of his firm, Nitti & Nitti, P.C., which allows him to be involved daily with the courts. As such, he is familiar with what is likely to happen if the parties decide to let a judge handle their issues. Having this knowledge as a mediator is a tremendous advantage since it allows him to help his clients reach an agreement that is in line with what would likely happen if they spent thousands of dollars having a Judge decide the issue.

Joe understands that divorce is a highly personal and emotional process, and his mediation services are designed to minimize conflict while encouraging open communication. Through mediation, Joe works with both parties to reach fair and equitable agreements on key issues such as child custody, property division, and financial support.

As a mediator, Joe fosters an environment where both spouses can express their needs and priorities, ensuring that the final agreement reflects the best interests of the entire family. By focusing on mediation, he empowers his clients to maintain control over the outcome of their divorce, helping them avoid the stress, time, and expense of litigation.

Joe’s hands-on approach and personalized attention ensure that each client receives the support they need throughout the mediation process. He is committed to providing a compassionate, solutions-focused service that prioritizes the well-being of both parties and their children.
